Borrowing Policy
The needs of GDI/DTI/SUNTEP students, staff, and faculty are always given priority at the GDI Library in Regina. However, members of First Nations or Métis communities and any others who wish to use the library’s materials will also be permitted borrowing privileges at the discretion of the librarian.
Borrowing privileges come with responsibilities. Please respect the following guidelines:
- Please have no more than 20 items signed out at a time.
- Please let library staff know when your address or phone number changes.
- Please be considerate of other patrons and return your books on time. Normally, patrons are not charged fines on overdue items, but staff reserve the right to charge fines in exceptional cases. Patrons will be charged for the cost of lost items, and patrons who do not comply with the borrowing policy may have their borrowing privileges revoked at the discretion of the librarian.
