Métis Nation University Sponsorship Program

The 2019-2020 Métis Nation University Sponsorship Program aims to assist Métis students to close the education gap by attending accredited University level programming. This program is funded by the Métis Nation – Saskatchewan.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES

The Gabriel Dumont Institute has been administering scholarships to Métis students in Saskatchewan through the Gabriel Dumont Scholarship Foundation since the early 1980s. Awarded twice annually, scholarships are intended to alleviate financial barriers while recognizing leadership, academic success, and community involvement.

The Gabriel Dumont Institute can provide transcripts for Dumont Technical Institute programs, and we can help you obtain your high school and post-secondary transcripts.

Gabriel Dumont Institute offers a wide range of career counselling services for individuals. If you know what you want, but you’re not sure how to get it, or if you don’t know what your future career will look like, GDI can help you find your path.

Job Search

Are you struggling to find a job? Gabriel Dumont Institute can help! We have résumé and interview skill training and workshops, up to date job boards, Internet and fax machine access to submit applications, wage subsidy programs for eligible Métis individuals, and more.
